African Canadian Development and Prevention Network

The vision of the African-Canadian Development and Prevention Network is for a healthy and fully integrated multicultural Canadian community. The purpose of the ACDP Network is to foster solidarity and inter-organizational collaboration across sectors that influence the health of the black community. Community organization part of the CHSSN Networking and Partnership Initiative. 

Heads and Hands

Head & Hands strives to promote the physical and mental well-being of youth. Their approach is preventative, inclusive, non-judgmental, and holistic, with a fundamental commitment to providing a supportive environment for youth experiencing marginalization(s). Services include: Information and referrals, health services, legal services, social services, young parents program, food pantry, community workshops.

Dans la Rue

Dans la Rue helps homeless and at-risk youth by offering comprehensive support designed to tackle every aspect of youth’s lives. Services are offered to youth’s aged 12 – 25 years old.

Housing, references and information, phone consultations, post-housing follow-up, translation and prevention.

Amal Center for Women

Women’s center that collaborates with women and families in difficulty to improve their living conditions.

Centre d’encadrement pour les jeunes femmes immigrantes

Promote development of immigrant girls and young women rallying the various public, private and community organizations around the realities affecting young women and immigrant women.
