English-speaking minorities experience a limitation in their access to English health and social services due to prevalent language barriers within the province of Quebec. Given this reality, REISA’s role in the Diaologue McGill Program is to promote and support the retention of health and social service professionals in the East and North of Montreal and to ensure the English-speaking minority communities have access to services in their own language.
We seek to create and support partnerships with English-speaking community networks and educational institutions to promote internship opportunities in the East and North for students at various levels of study who are pursuing careers in health and social services.
